Hello Aaron and Andrew. I’ve been thinking about modernism and postmodernism in art, film specifically. Modernism seeks to examine and define the ideologies, designs, and absolute truths of life in new and original ways. Postmodernism attempts to reject these ideas saying there are no universal truths because all things are subjective. Do you subscribe to either one of these philosophies, do your favorite films lean one way or the other, do you care? SiftPop has become a weekly must listen for me. I love to hear your conversations. I even enjoy when you disagree because I get an opinion from both sides with nothing but love in between. Looking forward to more SiftPop in 2020.
